MISSION
STATEMENT
York Manor, in
partnership with our community, provides quality of life that satisfies
residents and families in a home-like atmosphere.
York Manor is, in itself,
a small community. This community consists of 214 residents and
includes our community based relief care beds. To operate our home
24 hours per day, 7 days per week, we employ approximately 220 persons.
The intention of this site is
to give you an overview of the kinds of services and some of the
policies associated with the everyday living in our nursing home.
York Manor is one of 61 similar
organizations in New Brunswick. We are non-profit and a registered
charitable organization.
We are inspected yearly by the Department of Social Development to ensure that the
Nursing Home standards are met. York Manor is also accredited by
the Canadian Council on Health Facilities Accreditation and is subject
to this group’s standards for Long Term Care Organizations.
